2-03  Domaine Dru, Moulin à Vent

Moulin a Vent is the most Burgundian of the Beaujolais Crus.  This is a full-bodied wine usually served with game, red meat and cheese.  Garnet-red with elegant robe.  Floral and spicy aromas with cassis and iris scents; Ample, round and supple, ripen fruit aromas.

Grape Variety:  100% Gamay

 

3-01  Domaine Chevalier, Ladoix 2004

A ruby colour with tile-red tint.  Limpid.  Fine and delicate nose, lightly musky, with scent of underwood and fresh mushrooms.  Attack supple and silky.  Scent of red fruits and plum.  Well balanced at the end.  A wine to be enjoyed now.  Excellent with red and white meat, fish courses and cheese.

Grape variety:  Pinot

Serving temperature:  18°C

 

6-01  Domaine Denuziller   Mâcon-Solutré Côte Maconnaise

Golden green colour, the wine is floral, yet with some fruity expressions and with mineral notes which make it a good example of Chardonnay wine.  Ideal with fish, shellfish or with poultry in a cream sauce.

Grape variety:  100% Chardonnay

Serving temperature:  13-14ºC

 

6-02  Domaine Denuziller  Saint-Véran Côte Maconnaise

Pale yellow colour.  Similar to the Mâcon-Solutré, however quite different; fresh, aromatic, elegant and fruity, with fine floral hints, and an excellent palate.  Ideal with seafood, oysters, grilled fish.

Grape variety:  100% Chardonnay

Serving temperature:  11ºC

 

6-07  Domaine Denuziller  Pouilly-Fuisse “Astragal” Côte Maconnaise

Golden green colour.  A “vin de garde” wine of exceptional elegance.  Expressive, floral and aromatic, round and perfectly balanced, with mineral notes.  Ideal with fish, shellfish or with poultry.

Grape variety:  100% Chardonnay

Serving temperature:  13-14ºC

 

11-01  Petit Chablis, Domaine Matthieu Antunes, white

Color:  Clear yellow

Nose:  Fruity and crisp

Mouth:  Lively and mineral. Fresh finish.

Serve with:  Shell fish and aperitif

Ageing potential:  2 to 4 years

Grape variety:  100% Chardonnay

Serving temperature: 10-11°C

 

11-02  Chablis, Domaine Matthieu Antunes

Color:  Brilliant yellow

Nose:  Fresh and mineral

Mouth:  Refreshing, smooth and harmonious with hint of fruit

Serve with:  Fish pâté, roast sausage and any shell fish

Ageing potential:  3 to 5 years

Serving temperature:  10-12°C

Grape variety:  100% Chardonnay

 

11-03  Chablis, 1er  Cru Montmains,            Domaine Matthieu Antunes
Color:  Bright yellow colour.

Nose:  Very toasty and mineral.

Mouth:  Notes of nuts with delicate and fresh after taste.

Serve with:  Salmon, white meat with mushrooms and goat cheese.

Ageing potential:  5 to 10 years

Serving temperature:  11- 12°C

Grape variety:  100% Chardonnay

 

18-04  Domaine Eypert, Bourgogne, Pinot Noir

Red berry and blackberry aromas reminiscent of Pinot Noir.  The soft structure with moderated tannins enables us to drink it from now on or in the next five years.

Delicious with:  Grilled or roasted meats, light game and soft cheeses.

Grape variety:  Pinot Noir

Serving temperature:  14-16°C

 

18-06  Domaine Rebourseau, Gevrey Chambertin ( Côtes de Nuit)

Rather intense colour, with light amber tint.  The nose and the palate are very pleasing with truffle taste. A long and nice after taste very expressive.

Delicious with: Red meat, strong cheeses (époisse)

Grape variety:  Pinot Noir

Serving temperature:  14° - 16°C

 

26-04  Parize Père et Fils, Givry 1er Cru, Les Grandes Vignes

Red wine with great expression of fruits and red berries.  Conserve at least 5 to 6 years.  Perfect with red meat, game and cheese.
